"Coppertop Ink is about mixing makeup and art! All of my drawings have a cartoon look with a vintage feel. Even in my digital work, the ladies must have makeup on, I really feel like it brings them to life! I started drawing when I was very young and was always attracted to more of a cartoon like look when it came to characters, and I feel like the more I practiced and worked on it, the more it became my style. I was also inspired by old traditional tattoos with the bright look of the blush on the side of the cheeks. I started to add real blush to my characters to mimic that look, and that has been my trademark ever since!"
