From Tiki Farm:
"We are very proud to announce the launch of our latest collaboration with renowned Parisian Tiki artist Bai! Bai is a pre-eminent Tiki artist, sculptor and creator with her signature, singularly-unique playful style attracting ardent fans and collectors across the globe. On behalf of Tiki Farm and Bai, we proudly present to you for your consideration our newest artist-collaboration, 'The Fish Gatherer' Tiki mug! Check out Art by Bai
The Fish Gatherer Tiki mug is presented to you adorned with a walnut wood cocktail-pick spear (we recommend skewering a maraschino cherry, if you feel your cocktail suits the garnish… plus it just looks so cool when presented!), and is glazed in beautiful, gentle contrasting hues of jade green and yellow with complimenting accents hand-painted in dusted blue.
Emblazoned on the back in hand-painted raised letters: 'HUKILAU', as the Fish Gatherer pays tribute to a wonderful Hawaiian tradition of casting a large net out into the sea, with the community working together to pull the net to shore and sharing together in the bounties of their haul. That is a beautiful tradition and that tradition is known as the Hukilau.
Enjoy your Fish Gatherer by adding a total capacity of libations and ice of 15 oz. to the rim of this 8.25 inch tall, glorious drink vessel work-of-art and do so ASAP, as we anticipate a very fast sell-through of this limited production Tiki mug."
*NOTE: This mug looks to have been inspired by a vintage standing Coco Joe's tiki figure (#201) -- originally cast in black resin and without the tattoo on the tongue, the fish, the spear, or the shell-shaped headpiece.
