Tiki has become more than a hobby for me—it’s a world I genuinely love getting lost in. Living in Honolulu makes that connection even stronger, surrounded by the history and echoes of the places that helped shape it.
I’m fascinated by the old stories, the escapism, the art, and the legends of Donn Beach—from the Dagger Bar and Treehouse to the old International Market Place. I love learning where tiki came from while watching where the culture is going today.
At home, I’ve built my own little tiki escape where I mix the classics of the past, experiment with modern craft tiki cocktails, and probably spend way too much time hunting down the next mug for the collection.
For me, every old recipe, strange mug, and forgotten story is another little piece of tiki history worth keeping alive.
