This wooden bowl is shaped like a clamshell. Many of these were made in the Philippines and imported to Hawaii for sale in the tourist trade but earlier ones, especially, were first made in Hawaii. They come in a wide variety of sizes and some came in sets with a large bowl and several smaller bowls.
