Del Webb was a real estate developer and a co-owner of the New York Yankees baseball club. He built many venues, including some that leaned tiki like Del Webb's Kuilima Resort Hotel & Country Club in Kahuku, Hawaii, and Del Webb's OceanHouse in San Diego, California.
