Waiakea Village Split Bamboo Server
in 1 collection
A serving dish shaped like a piece of split bamboo and marked for the Waiakea Village (circa 1972). The name of the village came from "wai ākea" in the Hawaiian language meaning "broad waters", and was located in what is now the southeast part of the city of Hilo.
