Fred was designed by Joe Mello and manufactured by Rum Demon in Portland, Oregon. Fred is a limited edition of 50 and the colors vary from mug to mug. Fred has large round goggle-like eyes with football shaped centers. He has long, straight, rectangular teeth and also has hair that hangs down to a line of circular bumps across his forehead.
