Tiki Treat Pumpkin Mug - by Barconic

in 1 collection

This lidded ceramic jack-o-lantern mug from Barconic will hold your favorite cocktail in perfect Halloween style.

Not particularly Tiki, this mug has a rich orange glaze inside and out, with darker brown chiseled lines and black details for eyes, mouth and nose. The back of this mug has "Tiki" in a raised bamboo font above "Treat" in carved black lettering.

Barconic is infamously known for the unauthorized appropriation of other artist's designs, and their website amusingly warns others that this design is copyright 2018, and that they "will be taking on any and all infringement on our Proprietary Products". So, perhaps, back-dated copyrights and legal threats are a way to gaslight customers? Hard to say...

They didn't put a legal warning on their "Spooky Cat Mug" which is obviously a rip-off of the "Homeward Bound Mug" - Medallion Series - by Tank Standing Buffalo - for Tiki Farm except the medallion has been switched out with a cat & moon silhouette instead of a sailing ship. But jack-o-lanterns are so iconic they could be sure that more people will attempt to make them as the years go by...
