This wall plaque of black lava (and resin) depicts a maiden offering prayer to god Lono. Hang tag notes Catalog No. 410. This is one of 5 plaques made by Coco Joe in the series. Unlike their many statues, these had a metal staple on the back to hang them on the wall and cannot be made to stand upright on their own.
A sticker on the back describes them as "Wall Decor". A yellow paper hang tag reads: Legends in Lava, Coco Joe, Made in Hawaii on the front, and 'Coco Joe portrays in "Puna Rift" lava a lovely Hawaiian maiden kneeling in Heiau (worshipping temple) seeking the blessings of the God Lono, so that she will be loved as she loves.' " on the back. It also contains the poem "The God Lono".
The series of wall decor included:
- 406 "Hula Dancers" features two wahinis dancing in grass skirts (an alternate version exists with the women in sarongs).
- 407 "Bountiful Hawaii" features two wahinis holding one large basket of fruit over their heads.
- 408 "The Tikis" features 3 overlapping Tikis.
- 409 "The God Kukailimoku" features one large Tiki.
- 410 "The God Lono" features a wahini praying to Lono.
