"Ue o Muite Arukō" ("I Look Up as I Walk), alternatively titled "Sukiyaki", is a song by Japanese singer Kyu Sakamoto, first released in Japan in 1961, which topped the charts in a number of countries, including the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1963. The song grew to become one of the world's best-selling singles of all time, selling over 13 million copies worldwide.
One sentence review: Do yourself a favor and go listen to the much better (and correctly spelled) original hit - this record sounds like Lawrence Welk dozing through Hawaiian tunes he's never actually heard.
