Coco Joe's larger 11.5 inch hapa-wood "LONO" statue #26-153 comes in various shades of brown with the word HAWAII carved into the front of the base, the Coco Joe's round "stamp" and a copyright symbol with the year "80" on the bottom.
Some versions also have the number 26-153 engraved on the bottom below the round cocojoes stamp. There's also a black version with the same story on an orange label, made with lava and numbered 16-159.
A green label on the back reads: "LONO God of Peace and Prosperity. Ancient Polynesians worshipped LONO with great devotion. He was the Supreme God, reigning over the clouds, wind, sea, and the fertility of the land and its people. He controlled the peace and prosperity of Old Hawaii. His worshippers paid special tribute to their annual "makahiki" or thanksgiving festival. LONO offers the promise of an abundance of Life's Blessings."
Note that these taller, later statues by Coco Joe's often began to "droop" forward over the years as they are mostly plastic with more dubious fillers than the earlier statues. When originally sold, they stood tall and straight upright on their bases.
