Part of the "Tiki Polynesia" collection by Chiefly Co. Ltd., this resin statue features white paint dots around the gaping mouth and "tilde" (~) shaped eyes. The word Hawai'i appears at the base in raised gold letters. The plain resin top and bottom bear no marks or stamps, as with a lot of the more modern Chinese knockoffs of these statues.
A small glossy hangtag tied to his neck with twine reads Designed in Hawaii, Tiki Polynesia Collection, Made in P.R.C (China) on the front, and on the back notes "Joyful Tiki. The Joyful Tiki will keep you in high spirits and lighthearted moods. The bearer of this Tiki will begin to notice the simple joys in life and happily share it with others."
