Jimmy Uke and his Islanders offer musical enjoyment for the entire family. Nine traditional songs (including "Hawaiian People Eater" and "Moon of Manakoora") offer brief moments of entertainment, too soon past. This is a short record.
One sentence review: This album pleasantly sits somewhere in the rockabilly/surf guitar/Hawaiian music triangle.
Note; this LP has an identical track list to the earlier release of the same name on Pickwick but credited there to the (supposedly different) "Leni Okehu and his Surfboarders", and with different cover art. The earlier record is also much brighter sounding and of obviously higher quality vinyl.
