Most likely produced in the early to mid 50's, this record captures authentic Hawaiian sounds and songs (but with lyrics in English) from the long running and vastly popular "Hawaii Calls" radio program, which aired weekly on up to 750 radio stations around the world from 1935 to 1975. Eventually, Webley (the composer of "Sweet Leilani") put out 33 albums altogether!

One sentence review: A lovely little record all in all, oozing with authenticity - I'll be seeking out more of his offerings.
