Exotic Dreams: the Enticing Voice of Ethel Azama - Liberty Records, 1958

Martin Denny presents 12 tunes featuring the sultry vocals of Hawaiian born (but of Okinawan heritage) lounge singer Ethel Azama. More schmaltz than jazz, apparently this was her only Tiki-adjacent record (a follow-up album in 1959 contained American standard songs).

One sentence review: Despite her competent voice, the arrangements are so bland that the only memorable part of this album is the cover art.
