Notch Severed Head Tribute Mug

This is an artist proof, and as such, glaze and decoration is unique. This is #1 of only 2 Artist Proofs made in this special crazed glaze. Notch chose this special crazed glaze to give the mug a truly "vintage" aged look. The original very Limited Edition of only 100 mugs was released in 2007. Notch released this very rare artist proof from that run at Tiki Oasis 14, which was held in San Diego, California in August, 2014.

Notch Severed Head Tribute Mug

aka Nacho Ren Clark Severed Head in 14 collections

This is a tribute reproduction version of the famous Ren Clark Severed Head mug, created by Bay Area-artist Notch (a.k.a. Nacho). The mug is faithful to the original, although slightly larger, despite Notch having never seen one in person; he created this reproduction based on only a couple of available photos. The mug is of an upside-down man's head, eyes open and mouth agape, dripping in blood. The drink opening is the head's neck. Beige, with painted gray, black, white, pink and red details. Marked "Notch Severed Head Tribute Mug" in black on the bottom.
