Just wanted to show off this awesome piece created by Cass McClure aka Junkhauler aka Ocea Otica. The following info if from Junkhauler's etsy store... This low fire ceramic vase is from my series of Vintage Beauty Monster dead flower vases. These pieces in this series are all modified greenware from a vintage mold. Each one is unique, has sculptural differences, has differences in underglazing and glazing, and underwent a third firing of platinum or 18k yellow gold accents. I work with the same themes on some of these elegant ladies, but no two will look the same. Due to the modifications by hand sculpting and custom colors of glaze and underglaze, which i mix on the spot with no notes to recreate the colors, i would not be able to make the same one twice. These lovelies stand approximately 8 1/2 inches tall. These are vases, not to be used for food or drink storage. Due to these vases' petite weight dried flowers work best, though some water and a single flower works nicely as well. Overloading them with a large tall bouquet may cause them a second death. Name of each one of a kind piece and "by junkhauler" underglazed on bottom. ******************** This green chanteuse woke up, sat up from the lab table, looked in the mirror to find she had no bed head. This gorgeous reanimated beauty, with platinum accents in her eyes, flower lapel, and hair, shows the beauty of having green skin. Now if she can just keep away from those other grunting green lab experiments. Rest assured, those stitches under her chin and along her jaw line will make sure she doesn't loose her head.
