Modern Bug Eyed Moai

aka Non-Otagiri Marquesan Moai, Large Bug Eyed Moai in 19 collections

This is a copy of a vintage Otagiri mug. The mug is of a stylized moai, more narrow at the top, and having distinctive large, rounded eyeballs. The glaze on this mug is an even honey-brown, while the vintage version is two-toned, with beige overlaid with a darker streaky brown with a white interior and concave base.
