Lance Corporal Stoney Bowl

aka. Customized Napco Design Ku Bowl

My latest piece 'Lance Corporal Stoney'. The tiki is from a plastic mold purchased from eBay several years ago. I made a plaster cast of that then added the rocky base so that it had a flat and stable base to stand upright. A mold was then made. I will be playing around with this design and trying a few different variations. Bowl is 22cms wide and 6.5cms high. The overall height is 20cms. Holds 1.25 litres without ice.

This is a bowl with a Ku Tiki head on a rocky island. The head is molded from one of several vintage Napco designed wall hangings (which include the Square-Toothed Tiki and Zig-Zag Mouth Tiki designs that were made into mugs by Johnny Sens and other hobbyists).
