Keli'i Pineapple Chalice #1

aka. Ki'i Akua Pineapple Chalice, Ki'i Akua Pineapple Goblet

After seeing a pineapple bowl by Beachbumz the idea came to me to turn it into a chalice/goblet using the Tiki's as the stem and the pineapple as the cup. I messaged Scott with my idea and he surprised me when we met in Waikiki whilst i was on holiday by presenting it to me for my birthday present. Mahalos Scott, you did a great job on it.

Distinguishing Characteristics

1/1 chalice/goblet based on my idea.

Tiki Mug Design

Keli'i Pineapple Chalice

aka Ki'i Akua Pineapple Chalice, Ki'i Akua Pineapple Goblet in 1 collection

A pineapple chalice with two standing Tikis flanked back to back forming the stem. The Tikis are shaped like traditional temple images. Each Tiki has wide round eyes, a large simple headdress, a gaping mouth and has long fingers which meet on its stomach. This Tiki design has often been used by hobbyists using 1963 Duncan molds. It also resembles the early Coco Joe's piece pictured on pg. 167 of Tiki Quest.
