Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Orange Edition

aka Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Crossing The Streams Variant in 5 collections

This mug is shaped like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man mascot from the film, Ghostbusters (1984). Mr. Stay Puft first appears as a picture logo on a prop package of marshmallows in Dana Barrett's apartment, on a graffiti advertisement on the building next to the Ghostbusters' HQ, and then in the climax of the film as the gigantic physical manifestation of the Sumerian deity Gozer. Subsequently, he has been incorporated into many other Ghostbusters media, including the animated series The Real Ghostbusters, comic books, a stage show, and video games. Mr. Stay Puft resembles the Michelin's Bibendum (also known as the "Michelin Man") and the Pillsbury Doughboy. Along with the Ghostbusters logo, the image of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man has become one of the most recognizable emblems of the franchise. This orange "Crossing The Streams Edition" variant features an orange-wiped glaze. There is also a blue-wiped Regular Edition and a black-wiped beige colored "Bone Edition". The mug was designed by Joe Allard, sculpted by Tufan Sezer, and created with contributions from "Thor" Thordarson and the crew from Tiki Farm.
