The Pickled Head Mug was designed and manufactured by artist Henrik Van Ryzik, VanTiki. No mold is used, so each Pickled Head Mug is unique. Van Tiki describes his Pickled Head mugs, saying: "Pickled Heads are only found deep in the jungles of VanTiki Island. They are painstakingly aged by the VanTiki natives within great palm-trunk barrels in a secret mixture of vital fluids and rare herbs. Often confused with Shrunken Heads, Pickled Heads involve less shrinking/stitching and more sitting around in a vat till you end up with a spiffy vessel that not only holds your Mai Tai but reminds you of that foe you vanquished at the last tribal battle. Yum yum!"
