Tiki Pop Mug

aka Tiki Pop Exhibit & Book Mug in 44 collections

This is a Tiki mug with a brown and white glaze that is reminiscent of the classic Tiki Bob design. Released along with the Tiki Pop exhibit and its accompanying book, both of which were organized/authored by Sven Kirsten. The mug was first made available at the site of the exhibit -- the Quai Branly Museum -- a museum in Paris, France that features indigenous art, cultures and civilizations from Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas. Each mug includes a tassled, laminated bookmark which provides a brief background for the book and the mug. It was inspired by the menu cover of the long defunct "Mai Tai Room" in San Diego, CA.
