When Matthew and I went to the Kon Tiki the first time, I wasn’t yet collecting mugs. Then, the second time, we knew it was closing, but they had already sold out of mugs. So, we bought the cup. We got this one on the secondary market on 7/18/26.

The Kon Tiki Oakland Mug Green

This mug is glazed in a green wipe-away with palm fronds, two tiki renditions (a large Witco style mask on front and the Thor Heyerdahl style Kon-Tiki mask on reverse) with the words, "The Kon Tiki Oakland CA" on reverse. Released in August, 2018. Served with the Kon Tiki Grog featuring dry ice. There is also a version in a teal blue glaze.
