Tiki Mug Design

King of Kapu - Valentine's Day Edition - Pink Helmet - by Eekum Bookum - for The Reef

in 1 collection

A severed head mug sold exclusively on location at The Reef tiki bar in Palm Springs, California.

The head wears a pink pith helmet decorated with a small tiki on front. The mug is made to look like Rory Snyder, owner of The Reef, who is also good friends with John Mulder of Eekum Bookum.

A delicious libation was created for this mug by The Reef’s Cameron Robbins, called “Wildsville’s Wrong Turn”.

From The Reef:

"The Reef has got a Valentine’s Day offer that we think is 'heads' above the rest! We have just received a VERY limited edition (ONLY NINETEEN MADE!) of our popular 'King of Kapu' severed head mugs. They are in a rosy-pink Valentine’s color with a hand-painted heart. It’s romantic, disturbing and Tiki, so what could be more perfect for this holiday? Starting today, if you are one of the first nineteen people to make a dining reservation at The Reef for Valentine’s Day, we will hold a mug for you to purchase after your meal. The mug is $99.00, and one mug per dining guest."
