This mug is stylized after the vintage Holland Mold and Marwal Polynesian/Hawaiian girl chalkware head busts that are still quite coveted today, but the blue skin also connects it to vintage paintings by Vladimir Tretchikoff which are also quite coveted by many of the same collectors.
