Tiki Mug Design

Cannibal Tiki Mug - for the Mai-Kai - First Edition - Rusty Yellow/Amber - by Sven Kirsten with Tiki Farm

in 6 collections

This mug portrays three Tahitian cannibal tikis around the exterior. This hearkens back to older 1956 Mai-Kai logo imagery and the idea for the mug, by Sven Kirsten, was articulated with wrap-around art by Anthony Carpenter and then manufactured by Tiki Farm using a yellow glaze combined with a rust brown wipe (amber overall effect) that hearkens back to early Spurlin glazes done by Stella Body.
