This is my very first tiki mug. I purchased it at a souvenir shop at Marine World Africa USA (located in Redwood Shores, CA) while on a (elementary) school field trip. It cost $1.39. My dad recently found it in a box while cleaning out his garage. The park has since been moved to Vallejo, CA and is now called 'Six Flags Discovery Kingdom'. The original site is now home to Oracle Corporation and a few thousand upmarket homes.

Quon-Quon Handled Tiki Mug Multicolored

in 5 collections

This mug was manufactured by Quon-Quon in Japan and resembles the Treasure Craft mug. It has a handle and a Ku head on the front and a tapa print on the back. The pattern on the handle is different from the Treasure Craft version and this mug was made in assorted colors, sometimes with "jewel" eyes. There is also a "standard" Quon-Quon handled Tiki mug which is brown with jewel eyes and a white interior.
