Strikow Kahlua Mayan With Crossed Hands Decanter

in 1 collection

This decanter was a promotional item for Kahlua Liqueur. It features a Mayan figure who is standing on a pedestal with both hands crossed under his head. The figure is wearing a large ornate headdress. Glazed in a bone/beige color. Unlike the later green and brown Kahlua decanters that follow, this figure has a "Kahlua" label across bottom front (sometimes peeled off due to age) instead of molded lettering on front. There is a very similar decanter with different headrest, kneeling, with bowl under its mouth, which came out previously.
