Stepping into the tiki bar, I was greeted by the classic aura of the golden age of tiki decor and mysticism. The bar itself was a sight to behold, crafted from rich mahogany and adorned with intricate carvings of Polynesian gods and mythical creatures. A warm glow emanated from the vintage lanterns hanging overhead, casting flickering shadows on the bamboo walls.

The ambiance was enchanting, with the gentle sound of waves crashing against the shore playing softly in the background. Tiki torches flickered in the dimly lit space, adding to the sense of adventure and escapism.

As I made my way to the bar, I couldn't help but marvel at the attention to detail in the decor. But one thing that took me out was the shishas that is more ingraned to the spanish culture and the menu that polinesian and the menu was on point of the old tiki cocktails offering but the ones I tried (Hula Hula y Safrin Bastardo) where a little bit one noted but their unique tiki mugs and ambiance was worth it. Also is in walkable distance from the Gothic Quarter.

Tiki Bar

Kahiki - Barcelona

Barcelona, Spain

Opened in 1977, this location is not as richly decorated as some of the other Barcelona tiki bars, but it is centrally located.

The mural figures in this bar have an unusual Indonesian themed quality to them.

As with the other Barcelona tiki bars, they serve their drinks in classic Spanish style porcelain tiki mugs.

Some tiki purists may be disappointed at times by the music selection or cocktail offerings, but as with other Barcelona tiki spots, this is an amazing time capsule worth checking out if you are in the area.
