This is a lidded tankard mug depicting Cthulhu, an ancient evil god pulled from the pages of H.P. Lovecraft. Cthulhu is a giant creature with octopus-like head and bat-like wings. The High Relief Water Wash version has a highly detailed fully wrapped sculpt of Skinner's original art. A cobalt blue water wash glaze is then applied. This is the limited edition with pewter lid that was available for pre-order. There was also an unlimited version without the lid.
