Tiki Mug Design

Primitive Tiki

in 8 collections

A mug shaped like a mask head with tall forehead decorated in many thin lines and with speckled almond shaped eyes. This mug was designed by Michael Fry and is inspired by an African mask that originally measured about 30 inches. It is an example of TIKAR ART, from the grasslands, chiefdom of Bamenda, Cameroon. Glazed in either a semi-gloss red with natural clay tones or a green semi-gloss with natural clay tones.
