In 1908, songwriter Terry Sullivan — who penned a number of catchy ballads for British music halls — wrote the following tongue-twister:

"She sells seashells on the seashore, The shells she sells are seashells, I’m sure, For if she sells seashells on the seashore, Then I’m sure she sells sea shore shells."

John Mulder was inspired by this famous tongue-twister to create Bobbi, the Bobble-headed Sea Mermaid who is holding a shell for sale.
