Martin Denny presents 12 tunes featuring the sultry vocals of Hawaiian born (but of Okinawan heritage) lounge singer Ethel Azama.
More schmaltz than jazz, apparently this was her only Tiki-adjacent record (a follow-up album in 1959 contained American standard songs).
One sentence review: Despite her competent voice, the arrangements are so bland that the only memorable part of this album is the cover art.
