Great golden age of tiki decor. Great drinks, good food and great service. The only complaint is the music. In the 2 hours we were there, I only heard 1 exotica song and a couple of surf tunes. The majority though was garage rock and rockabilly. I like that kind of music, but not in a tiki bar done in the trad Don The Beachcomber/ Trader Vic style.

They have renamed the bar to Nui Nui. Oddly they don’t have the Nui Nui on the menu (which they have simplified and removed a few drinks).

Go for the decor. The drinks are too sweet and the soundtrack was reggae and boomer hits of the 70’s, but the vintage ambience is cool.

Still closed in Feb, 2023 as I type this. They posted an Instagram Reel a couple of weeks ago that they have finally been sold (been trying to sell for a while) and the new owner's name along with plans to re-open under new ownership in early 2023.
