A Witco inspired world globe mug with orbiting wooden satellite. This is an "In the Lap of the Gods” Tiki chalice. The base is comprised of four different Tiki gods that represent the islands of Hawaii, Raratonga, The Marquesas and Rapa Nui. The four different tapa patterns below the Tikis are also from each of those islands. The upper portion is the iconic Witco Globe, symbolizing that Tiki IS our world. High-fired stoneware made in the USA. The mug was designed by Doug Horne based on vintage Witco pieces and manufactured by Eekum Bookum (John and Janet Mulder).
