Distinguishing Characteristics
The headdress on my mug are smooth without any detail. I wasn't able to find an exact likeness when doinng a mug search. I found one on Ebay listed as OMC Japan Chief Tiki Mug.

This black tiki mug has a pointed headdress design, with a pointed rim. Tiki has rounded eyeballs, figure eight mouth, full squat body. Headdress has detailed design. All black satin glaze. This version is marked "South Pacific Newton Mass."
Used to serve the "Dr. Funk" cocktail.
