Earls Table + Bar asked me to design a mug for their Tiki Torch cocktail and include a tribute to their iconic parrot in the mix. The original 10 ft parrot graced the first Earls in Edmonton, Alberta for 25 years before making its final flight in 2012. You can see the production mug and the giant parrot in the last 2 photos. The production mug is currently available at many Earls locations throughout Canada and the US.
And now I present the Earls Vintage Series mug in stoneware with a semi-matte finish. It stands just over 6" tall and holds 12 oz to the rim. Each one signed and numbered.
There will be only 12 in this color scheme (Series 'A') and a maximum of 24 Vintage Series mugs in total.

This is a classic Ku shaped mug holding a parrot. It has a semi-matte gray glaze. Used to serve the "Tiki Torch" cocktail. The original 10 foot parrot graced the first Earls in Edmonton, Alberta for 25 years before making its final flight in 2012. The production mug for on location is in a brown gloss finish. Squid also released this "A" as well as a "B" vintage series of this mug design through eBay, limited to 12 each, with semi-matte finish.
