well... not quite sure how to describe this one... it's a real coconut, topped, then hollowed out, then varnished and embroided with raffia with and a geometric pattern and the word 'Tonga'. Two holes have been made in the coconut and two more in the lid so a raffia carrying strap can be threaded through. It was sold to me as being purchased in a genuine Tiki Bar(?) in Tonga some decades ago(?). it's clearly a tourist piece and won't hold a drink unless another watertight receptacle is placed within (the embroidery has created many tiny holes). Bit of a curio, but fits quite nicely with my home bar decor.
