Chinese Jade Tile Flask - by Doug Horne - for Tonga Hut

in 11 collections

Made for the Tonga Hut in Los Angeles, this is a flask shaped like a Chinese jade tile with cork stopper. It has real jute rope bindings on all 4 sides. Measures: 7” high (including opening on top), 6” long, and 1.5” wide.

Historically, jade tiles have adorned many classic tiki establishments, including Don The Beachcomber's and Trader Vic's. They are often lashed together with bamboo frames to make breezeways or to embellish door frames.

This flask is marked for the Tonga Hut.
