This Tiki mug is shaped like one of the two famous Tikis which guard the Pu’uhonua o Hōnaunau (Place of Refuge) at the Pu’uhonua national historic site. "Na Kaua E Pale" translates to "Who Guarded In The War." This one has a headdress with heavy vertical lines/ridges and more lines on the chin, compared to the second of the pair which has simpler details on the headdress and chin. It also has a square base, whereas the other has a round base. This is the Ali'i Edition.
