Tiki Mug Design

Teka

in 4 collections

Teka is named for the Chief of the friendly tribe that greeted the Kon Tiki crew when they arrived in French Polynesia in 1947. This mug shows a full-bodied tiki with a toothy grin and horizontal almond eyes. Lines radiate through his forehead and eyebrows, and a Ku-like headdress runs down his back and sides. "TEKA" is written in raised vertical letters on the back side. Made on Maui by Rob Hawes, this mug comes in a variety of glazes and colors, and includes a signed and numbered tag about Teka.
