I went straight from the airport to the Bali Hai and had the outside deck area all to myself while I took my time eating lunch while looking over the water. I even got a free dessert for my birthday! The Mai Tai here is not to be trifled with.

Gecko'z South Seas Hawaii Max's Beam Green #2

I feel so lucky that I was able to attend the Grand Opening of Max's South Seas Hideaway in Grand Rapids. I flew in that morning and stayed at at the bar from open to close! I knew I had to get one of these mugs from Gecko, so upon entering the bar, I basically stalked him until he was ready to start selling, and got #2 of 30. The mug is incredible, as is the bar.
