Shortly after we went into production on Mad Marq, I received a call from CBS asking if we could produce a Marquesan design for a forthcoming series, Survivor. I photoshop'd MM and emailed my contact at CBS the attached photograph. My contact there was fired just a few days later & I was unable to find anybody interested in this project. Check out how bad I sucked at Photoshop!

Replica of statue in front of museum sculpted by either Thor Heyerdahl's daughter or granddaughter (cool!). Cool primitive hygroplyph markings. Another one that I like.

Forbidden Island Tiki Crate Statue, Black Glaze series - Red 1/1. (The Black Glaze series consisted of 10 statues in black, each mug having a different highlight glaze.)

Emerald Green

This is a mug shaped like a stalk of bamboo and encircled with a ring of skulls around the base. Top is encircled with braided jute rope decorated with "Harpy Eagle Talons". Made for Kahuna Kevin, who is the author of several published cocktail books, including 'Why Is The Rum Gone? Volume 1' and 'Why Is The Rum Gone Volume 2'. This is the Sun Aged Brown glaze version and there is also a Fresh Cut Green version. Comes with special drink card for original "Voodoo Bamboo" cocktail made with unusual ingredients including Imperial Stout and Porto Wine.

This is the first Tiki mug I ever made and it is one of two in this light green glaze. Bottom is marked "Tiki Farm by Squid /250". I've always thought that I made just this one but I do remember that I did sell one on eBay in 2000. I'm pretty positive that it sold for $20.
