In September 2007 I had the good fortune of traveling to Honolulu for a week on business and was able to dine at the Tiki Bar and Grill. I picked up several souvenirs while I was in the Aloha State, but this is the one that will probably last the longest.

Found this mug at my favorite hunting grounds. When I got home, I dropped in on a concrete floor, chiping the lid. Oh well. Several months later I actually had the opportunity to visit Tiki's Grill and Bar, but chose not to replace it with a newer one - I liked having the beat up version representing my collection.

This was the first mug I ever bought from a thrift store. I purchased it while visiting family in Santa Barbara, California. I know it is much derided, but he's a special little guy to me.
