Leaky Tiki Volcano Bowl Pele Edition #1
Trader Tom
This bowl is shaped like a volcano crater and the interior is glazed with molten lava colors that flow over the sides. The top lip of the crater has three indentations, The middle indentation holds a detailed Witco fountain style Tiki decanter with a cork.
This is the first Leaky Tiki Bowl sculpted by Squid and produced by Gecko.
The craters on each side of the Tiki are for dry ice or 151 over-proof rum.
The Tiki is modeled after a Witco fountain and, with the hole in its mouth, acts as a fountain for this lava bowl. It has a cork at the top and can be removed from the bowl for handling.
The finish is a warm pahoehoe lava color with flowing red interior.
Hand poured, glazed and fired to perfection at Gecko's South Sea Arts studio in Makakilo, Hawaii.
The bowl has "PELE" stamped into the bottom and incised below it is written "#1 From Mold Made in Ewa Beach Hawaii". Both Squid's and Gecko's stamps are visible on the back side of the bowl.
