Stamp is smudged on bottom but I've seen other ones with clear stamp and it's definitely a Pohaku Kiln piece.

Papua-Ooma-Mow-Mow Drum Mug stands almost 9.5 inches tall, and holds about 20 oz. It is shaped like a drum with a bird as the handle. Sculpt of drum done by Squid and sculpt of bird done by Babalu. The mug pays some partial tribute to the raging sounds of the "Trashmen" and their 1963 hit "Surfin' Bird". One of 40 mugs made. Signed and numbered card attached.

I bought two of these. Both unmarked. One was very heavy and reminiscent of Tepco. The other was very light. Slight variance in glaze but basically the same. I gave the lighter one to my son.

This mug celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the legendary Oceanic Arts in Whittier, CA and its founders, Bob VanOsting & Leroy Schmalz. It features four Tiki Gods that were copied from a mother-of-pearl carved pendant purchased in Papeete, Tahiti in 1960 by Bob & Leroy. These Gods and the beautiful sculpture of this mug was done-up by Tiki Diablo. 500 were made and they were limited to only 2 per person which could only be bought at the location and in person.
