A Marquesan inspired Tiki mug holding the traditional 'u'u (Marquesan War Club). Inspired by carver Bill Collins, sculpted by Scott "Beachbumz" Taylor, and produced by Gecko in his Makakilo studio. This is Test Piece #1 of the Ka'oha mug, Ali'i (Royalty) edition. Shaded brown exterior with earthy red and mossy green tints and a green interior glaze. The figure is holding the war club close to his body vertically (later editions feature the club at an angle away from the body).

I think this bowl cooled down too quickly in the kiln and it developed a hairline crack on both sides. Won't hold liquid but displays fine.

This is the third Lance Corporal Stoney i have made with a volcano. Very happy with the colour combination on this one so i'm keeping it for myself.

This is the third variation of my bowl which i turned into a goblet, but the second attempt, after i had a few issues with the first one.
