This mug was sold in a limited quantity at the Pusser's Rum Event at Forbidden Island in Alameda, CA on September 6, 2007. Painkillers were served in the cup in 2, 3, and 4 shot strength!

My brain (booze addled as it is) can't quite recall where I got this critter from. The place was definitely Key West, the year was certainly 2003, the shop was either a Spencer Gifts or a shop that claimed to deal solely in goods that featured chilli(BrE.) peppers whose claim was patently untrue. It originally contained an yellow goo that purported to make the perfect version of some cocktail or other. Oh, ...and I've got two of these... must've been seeing double at the time...

This is the Fourth in the Summer of Mugs Series from Forbidden Island. This mug featured a black inside glaze, and a bright yellow with orange dots glaze. On the bottom is the Munktiki and Forbidden Island logos. Unnumbered limited run of less than 50 mugs. Sold on/out on July 15th 2007

This a 'salt pig' in the shape of a shark's head made by Garnet McCulloch at FireWorks Studio in Glasgow, UK. For those as ignorant as wot I am about culinary matters it's meant for keeping your salt in so you can grab a quick pinch when cooking up your favourite recipe....(Mrs. celery is the food-expert at my house, I do the booze...). Not strictly a tiki item, but I thought you might like the look of it anyhow. The basic exterior glaze is off-white with grey, black and red overpainting. The interior glaze is red. It stands 9" tall and is 6" wide.

This was the mug awarded to those that finished all 20 weeks of tiki drinks at Forbidden Island in 2019. Designed by Woody Miller of the Menehune Design Group.

This is a wooden egg cup with a Maori tiki style carving. Quite small (as befits the holding of a hen's egg) but intricate enough to include the requisite paua-shell eyes you get in the ubiquitous New Zealand bought tourist-items of this type.

This is a service item made for the purpose of holding pineapple jam (hey, I'm English!) or compote (if you prefer). The maker is a company called 'Sylvac' which made hundreds, nay thousands, of similar ceramic 'novelty' items in the U.K over the course of several decades in the mid-to-late 20th century. Most of these are of very little interest to the tikiphile - but their range of fruit and vegetable shaped-pots are pretty great anyhow. It's 4" high and 2.5" wide. The lid has a small indent to allow you to insert a small serving spoon.
