Originally carved by Oceanic Arts in Whittier, CA, these Tiki poles can be seen at a few other vintage Tiki establishments as well. In that spirit, The Reef at the Caliente Tropics released their own special glaze edition of this pole design in a light green.

This mug design was originally produced for the Mai Kai restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale, and used to serve the Mara Amu drink. The OMC and Dynasty version are labeled "MAI-KAI" in big, black, bamboo-ish letters down the back. This version simply has a woven pattern on back and is labeled "Sang Kung" on bottom along with some other characters and stamps.

Kon-Tiki Coffee Mug by Palissy Royal Worcester Green

This green coffee mug is one in a much larger set of dishes in the "Kon-Tiki" line by Palissy Royal Worcester. The design features a stylized pattern of shields and spears. There were lots of different pieces: coffee and tea pots, plates, creamers, cake stands, pin dishes, mugs, cups, saucers, etc. There is also an identical set but in pinkish brown (taupe). Probably made in the 1950s, after the Kon-Tiki craze hit the popular consciousness. The saucer that accompanies the mug measures 12.5 cm/5" across.
